Finally, a day of rest.

Well it wasn't the seventh day but after four days of healing, I spent today resting. I woke up this morning with no fever and had a better appetite as well. The stomach was a little queazy but drinking peppermint tea did seem to help. So it seems like this things will be heading back to *normal* again, for a little while anyway. With the holidays and a wife who is *9* months pregnant, things are once again going to get more intense around the Brockey household. I'll do my best to keep everyone up to speed!

Thank you everyone for your love and support!

Hi Mike! Keep up the fight! I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma 3 years ago and was lucky to have caught it as it did not look at all like a cancerous mole and lucky that it was just basal cell. Thanks for getting the word out about skin cancer and sharing your story. You have always been strong and I know you can beat this! Melissa Pletcher

Merry Christmas, Brockey family! I've been out of the loop for nearly 2 weeks...unheard of! I'm usually clicking on your link daily to see if there is an update. So I am behind on your healing, but glad to hear that you are making progress...and making PLANS for a peaceful Christmas and new baby arrival!

I am a firm believer in MIRACLES and am sending up prayers that Dr. Gerson combined with your amazing attitude and the grace of God that cancer will be a distant memory for you and your family! You are ALWAYS in my heart!

Raise your juice glasses and "tink" them together for a very Merry Christmas and a HEALTHY New Year!

Hi Mike,
Here is what I found from Dr. Kelley, it will easy your mind regarding the rash and help you to stay positive: "It is easy to forget that the skin can be used to help detoxify the body and speed the removal of metabolic waste. Cancer breakdown products and other metabolic debris tends to accumulate rapidly. Patients often develop all kinds of skin eruptions and blemishes. These conditions can be worrisome, but should be viewed as a sign that your body is doing battle with the invaders."

Healing light to you,
